The Marion Country Club opened as a clubhouse and soon added an 18-hole golf course designed by Willie Park Jr.
With 106 years of history, the country club presents an opportunity for a substantial refresh across both its facilities and operations.
Golf
Upgraded Golf Experience
The course itself is being brought up to our new high standards of what a country club course should be.
New irrigation heads and wiring will improve consistency and course conditions. The capital plan also includes purchasing of new greens equipment, dead tree removal, and greatly improving the landscape of the course.
Driving Range
Keeping our practice facilities on par with an upgraded course is essential.
New netting designed to accommodate wedges and drivers will be added along side new teeing surfaces.
Pool
Poolside Bar
The pool will receive major upgrades and renovations through the next two years including an all-new poolside bar experience with outdoor TVs and resort-style Bar.
Facility Improvements
The aquatic facility refresh will include new concrete, operational improvements, and structural design changes (2028).
The operational improvements will ensure a more consistent experience, better water quality, and modernized plumbing/disinfectant systems that better align with current aquatic standards.
All-New Experience
19th Hole
This all-new member experience introduces a 19th-hole-style hangout that is the perfect place to cap off a round of golf.
The space features a state of the art golf simulator, pool table, ping pong, and more. All complete with full food and beverage service.
Family-Oriented Dining
An improved, family-friendly dining experience that is perfect for a Friday night meal. A refreshed look and countless new menu items provide a relaxed alternative to our traditional fine dining.
